Rules and Regulations

In any category with fewer than 3 entries, the organizer reserves the   right to merge any categories into one event. 

A teacher will not be   permitted to compete with one of his/her students against another of his/her   students in the same style, dance, level and age category 

Critique sheets and   scores will be given for Exhibitions. Studios should pick up the score sheets   on Sunday at the conclusion of the competition at the registration desk. 

Cancellations for   refund will be accepted up to two weeks after the entry deadline. A $75   charge will be applied to all refunds and paid 30 days after event. 

Cancellations taken at   the event cannot be substituted with another entry. No refund or exchange   will be made for such cancellations. 

All payments made after   the entry deadline, April 15, 2023 must be in the form of Cashier’s check,   money order or cash. No business or personal checks will be accepted after   this date or at the competition. Make checks payable to Royal Dancesport   Challenge.  

Video passes will be   available for purchase. 

In the event that   television, video or other pictures are taken, it should be understood that   anyone in the ballroom may be photographed and this photography shown   elsewhere.  Anyone attending this event automatically consents to be   photographed and waives any and all claims and rights to the use of the   photography. 

The Royal Dancesport   Challenge, Esther Don, their employees, affiliates and assigns cannot be held   liable for any injuries sustained by any persons attending the Royal   Dancesport Challenge, whether as Competitor or as Spectator. Each person   attending in any capacity whatsoever does so entirely at their own risk. 

All persons attending   the Royal Dancesport Challenge are obliged to adhere to the 'Official Rules'   set forth by the National Dance Council of America, which cannot be held   responsible for any loss or injury sustained. 

No Responsibility can   be assumed by the Organizers for loss of theft or articles left in the   ballroom or changing rooms. 

All Amateur couples and   Professionals must be registered with the NDCA, if dancing in Pro/Am or   Professional competitions. NDCA registration forms are available from   <www.ndca.org> or:
